Armour Thyroid, The Possible Answer To Your Symptoms

You are fed up, you have decided to take the reins on your life, and try and discover why it is that your having all these different symptoms. Or maybe you have heard from a someone else close to you about the wonderful success that person has had switching to natural thyroid. What ever the reason, you are looking to feel like that person you remember being, laughing, enjoying time with loved ones, and living life to its fullest. I'd like to share with you today some history, and general things of Armour Thyroid, and my success I have had by switching to Armour Thyroid.
Armour as I will refer to it as, is nothing more than dried thyroid, and is referred to as natural desiccated thyroid and is derived from pigs. Back in the late eighteen hundreds, a group of people got the idea to use this method to help treat patients who suffered with thyroid disorders. This became the standard for helping to treat thyroid suffers up through the nineteen seventies. In the nineteen fifties, synthetic thyroid hormone had been invented, also none as Synthyroid but didn't start to become popular until the late nineteen seventies and through the eighties. This was due to the fact that quality control was not what it should of been for natural desiccated thyroid products in the early seventies, therefore the companies and makers of the synthetic hormone took advantage of this and pushed how safe their product was compared to natural thyroid products. The makers of Armour, Forest Pharmaceutical, follows the same guide lines as the makers of synthetic hormone drug companies, the National Pharmacopeia Commission, which has to follow strict guidelines.
Some patients whom now was being prescribed synthetic thyroid hormone, was starting to notice all kinds of nasty symptoms such as:
Dry Skin
Hair Falling Out
Fatigue
Cold Feeling
Trouble Sleeping
Anxiety
Depression
Weight Gain
And a host of other symptoms
Patients started to educate themselves, and soon learnt that synthetic thyroid hormone, known to doctors as, "T4 Hormone", might be the cause of these nasty symptoms. Your thyroid naturally produces five hormones, T1, T2, T3, T4, and calcitonin. The two major hormones I want to bring to your concern is T3, and T4. T4 is your body's thyroid storage hormone. T3 is what your body uses to break down nutrients and send the energy to every cell in your body, it is your active thyroid hormone. When your body needs more T3 hormone, it takes from your T4 hormone and converts it to T3 hormone. What the wise doctor's in the nineteen fifties decided was, if one takes the proper amount of T4 only hormone, then the body will convert it into T3. What they didn't take into account was, that your body naturally produces a small amount of T3 hormone along with converting T4 into T3. This is where one who is taking a T4 hormone replacement, might be getting some of the symptoms he or she is having. One wants to make sure they have an adequate and exact amounts of these two thyroid hormones. I do not want to imply that Synthyroid or any other T4 hormone replacement drugs are terrible bad, some patients have taken these drugs for years, and do just fine.
I had my thyroid removed at a very young age, and had been prescribed Synthyroid for a little over twenty years. Seven to ten years ago, I began noticing several symptoms, dry skin, depression, anxiety, dry hair, trouble sleeping, apathy, and the biggest one was fatigue. I had been to the doctor no telling how many times, my number one complaint was fatigue. He done everything under the sun, I tried anti-depressants, sleep apnea test, a sleep study, blood panel test, you name it.
My mother had checked out a book at the library and gave it to me to read. I began reading it, and found it very interesting. It drove me to want to educate myself about my thyroid situation, and help me to understand it and work with my doctor. Before then I had just been letting my doctor run the show, and now I realize that was wrong of me, it's your body, its your life, and you have a right to that, don't give your doctor all your power.
The end of 2013, I was taking two different doses to Levothyroixine, generic form of Synthyroid, because on each one for a number of months, the low dose my levels would be high, and on the higher dose, my levels would be low, so I asked to combine them. My doctor agreed to let me take the higher dose twice a week and the lower dose the remaining part of the week. This began to cause problems, and finally in February of 2014, I called my doctor and asked to do something different. I'm thirty two years old as of right now, and I had gotten to a point where I felt like I was going to die. I had no energy what so ever, and began living my life laying on my couch. I wanted to do things but when I did, a few minutes later I was beat dead tired.
I had read about Armour Thyroid in the several thyroid books I had read to help educate myself but I was to scared to switch. One day going to see my doctor, the receptionist and I began talking after I had told her I was dying from fatigue. She told me that she had recently had her thyroid radiated and had tried Synthyroid and did not like it. She asked her oncologist to switch her to Armour, and said she loved it, it gave her her old life back. Later I asked my doctor to switch me to Armour, and though he didn't want to, he let me do it. Doctors I believe are taught not to promote Armour Thyroid, and to push synthetics the most they can. My doctor I began to see had no experience dosing patients using Armour and I asked to be referred to the oncologist that the receptionist had told me she had seen recently.
I've now been on Armour for several months now, and I must say, it changed things for me from black to white. Before starting Armour, I would of rated my overall well being thirty out of one hundred percent, and now I can surely say ninety five out of one hundred percent. The first thing I began to notice was softer skin and hair. Later I started sleeping so much better and things continue to keep improving.
If your having or noticing some symptoms from taking Synthyroid or other synthetic thyroid hormone replacement drugs, you may want to consider giving natural desiccated thyroid a try. I totally understand and respect those for not trying it for those who find it against your religion due because its derived from pigs. And a finally note, we are all different individuals, so therefore I must say, what works for one person, may or may not work for other. But if you are in the state I had gotten to, giving it a try with a doctors supervision, is worth the try.
I want to thank you for reading this blog post today, and folks, I hope to see you back here next time, I want to thank you for reading this Tectip Channel Blog today, see you next time folks.

How To Hook A Wireless Mouse to Your Android Device

Each day as technology advances, you are starting to see more and more touch screen devices take the place of physical devices that once helped us navigate the screens on our older devices. If your one of those folks that miss using a physical device with your computer powered devices, and you happened to purchase an Android powered device, then your in luck. With the latest operating system, the Jellybean operating system, and newer, you can have the ability to use a wireless mouse with your Android powered device, and even a physical keyboard.

An important note, this only appears to work with stock Android operating systems, which have not been heavily altered by the device manufacture. Each manufacture has the ability to skin the Android operating system to put their companies touch on it, and a lot of time, they will take this feature out of the operating system to make room for one of their own features. With that being said, lets begin.
Today, I will let you know how you can open the door to this opportunity, and let you explore its possibilities. First you will need to purchase an adaptor from a online market place, which is called a usb to micro usb adaptor, which looks like this. I purchased this one for $1.99 off of Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/CNE13028-Female-Micro-Cable-Adapter/dp/B005GI2VMG/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1394379472&sr=1-1&keywords=female+usb+to+micro+usb

You will notice that it has a standard female usb plug in on one side, and a male micro usb port on the other end of the adaptor. Next, you will want to take the wireless transmitter that came with your wireless mouse, and plug it into the standard female usb plug in side of the adaptor.

Next, you will want to plug the micro usb side of the adaptor into your tablet or smartphone. Afterwards, power on your wireless mouse, and before you know it, you should see a mouse pointer in seconds.

You can go into the settings menu of your device, under keboards & Input, and scroll to the bottom of the list, and you should find pointer speed adjustments, and assign which button does what.

With this adaptor, you will find that you can use a physical keyboard, thumb drives, and mice. With this knowledge, you will find that you will start to feel even more comfortable with your touch screen devices, and begin to enjoy them just as you did with your former older devices.

When It's Time For The Kids To Move Out, How to Readjust

If your like myself, I cherish every moment in my life and try to remember every second. I've always looked at every moment in life as being a special gift, a piece of time that belongs to you, and always have an appreciation for its every being. Your kids, they are a special gift you hold dear to your heart. Through the years you have watched them, as a tiny baby figuring out the world, growing into their elementary school years, and thru high-school as they struggled with being a teenager. You where there every time they fell and scraped their leg, every time they got their hearts broke, and for every joyful moment in their lives. Now, they have came of age, and its time for them to become young adults and spread their wings and try to fly in the real world.

This is the time when most parents will experience what is called, "Empty Nest Syndrome", and it can be a very difficult experience. For so long, you provided, and shared your love and protection for your child. Now, your child is of age, and you may still long to continue to provide for your child, its a natural instinct. But what you may not realize is that, you may do your child more harm than good.

As we become adults, one of the biggest things we must learn is, "Responsibility".  Without learning responsibility, one can not survive in this world. A squirrel every year must store nuts away for the winter if it is to survive, and if not, it will perish. This could not be anymore true for your child. Continuing to help your child out say financially, he or she will never learn to become responsible. The problem is, every time you provide them with financial help, and they are working and making a small income, they think to themselves that they can take your money, and use their own money on what they want to buy. I am not saying that every young adult is this way but a great percentage I presume are. Then perhaps lets say, your child gets into a little trouble financially, they will depend upon you, even possibly when they become older adults, to help him or her out of what ever trouble they face.

Each of us has to learn responsibility, and in doing so, we all must experience consequences. And its at these times when we face consequences, which we all have experienced, that we must determine how to resolve them and hope we do not run into them again. So continuing to help your child can potentially give them the mindset they can depend on you every time they run into financial trouble. Understand that, its your job as a parent to help them become responsible adults, so that they can be self sufficient through life. Understand that its ok to be there, standing on the side line watching, and its ok to help pick your child up sometimes but do not run out onto the field every time your child gets knocked down. And like I stated earlier, it can be hard, you've been there for your child since the beginning, and that is understandable. You may see it as you are helping but in fact you are actually doing more harm than good.

So now the question you may be asking now, "If I shouldn't be there one hundred percent of the time for my child, now what?" The one thing that you can do is, get reacquainted with your life before you had children. You can now become more romantic with your partner, have more time for each other, and experience things in life you always dreamed of doing. Or, you can focus more on a favorite hobby that you did not have time for when you where raising kids, cooking your favorite dish, wood working, golfing, fishing, or what ever it may be.

And as a finally note, and understand, that once you begin to get reacquainted with you former life, you are helping your child to become an adult, and not only are they your child, they are also becoming a best friend. This has been another Tectip Blog brought to you by the Tectip Guy, I want to thank you for reading today, and remember, growing up, and going through the stages of life, it can be tough but remember, its truly an amazing experience.

Best Top High Back Front Seat Covers Review

One of the things as a Jeep owner you want to do is, be able to use your Jeep the way you always imagined. The way the Jeep Wrangler is offered now days, though a good thing, with its creature comforts such as cloth or leather seats, carpeted floors, navigation systems, and so on, can interfere and be difficult to use your Jeep as a Jeep. We pay a lot of money for these wonderful vehicles, spend countless hours at a job you possible don't like and would prefer to be riding around in your Jeep somewhere, and therefore, you want to keep your Jeep looking as good as you possibly can. One area of this topic I will discuss is, your Jeeps seats, and how you can protect them from rain showers, dust, dirt, mud, and everyday wear and tear.

One way you can protect your Jeeps seats is a good water proof seat cover. Now before I begin with the review, yes, there are all kinds of seat covers that are offered for the Jeep Wrangler, and any vehicle at that rate, from cheap twenty dollar covers to two or three hundred dollar covers. But if you are like myself, your doing your best to get by, just making enough money to make a Jeep payment to the bank each month, there is a good all around option for folks.

When I went shopping for seat covers for my Jeep, I knew I didn't want the twenty dollar ones I could get from local chain stores, because they where not going to offer any rain protection, or durability, so I went looking on the internet and I found two brands that I liked, and later went with a company that has provided products for Jeeps for a long time, Best Top. I had purchased a new top for a 1993 Jeep Wrangler I had a long time ago, and was very satisfied with the product, so I decided to purchase the seat covers they offer for the 03-06 Jeep Wrangler. Let me say after owning and using them for well over two years now, I am very happy with my decision.

Pro's

The one thing I like about these covers, they offer some rain protection during sudden showers when you have the top down. The reason being, Best Top makes these covers from the same material as they make their Jeep soft tops from, a black diamond material, which offers water protection. So when you go out with your sweet heart to eat at the local drive in, have the top down, and your eating a hamburger inside, and a rain shower pops up, later you can just wipe the seat off and not worry about a wet bottom. Another pro, and with some upkeep along the way, they are durable. I work in the dirt and mud, and at the end of the work day, I like how I can just jump right in my Jeep, and not worry about staining the cloth seat upholstery, and the covers are somewhat easy to clean. Another thing I love about these covers, they fit tight to my Jeeps front seats, which is a huge plus in my opinion, and when installed, looks almost like they are the factory seat upholstery.

Con's

One little con I have with these covers is the redesign that Best Top chose to do with the 03-06 seat redesign. On the 03-06 covers, Best Top uses a neoprene material for the sides of the seat covers. On the early TJ seats, 97-02, the seat back was the round design, and the covers that Best Top offers for the early TJ seats is all black diamond material, therefore making it really water proof. When Jeep redesigned the Wranglers interior in 03, Best top made the newer covers with the neoprene material on the sides of the seat, therefore not making it as water proof as the early TJ covers they offer. Also if one doesn't keep any sort of sun protectant on the neoprene, I've found that they will begin to fade, turning from black to a purple color. I've worked really hard to keep some kind of protection on the sides, and even still they have still kind of faded. Lastly, one thing I don't like about these covers, and this is nothing that can be helped, because they are black, they collect a lot of heat. So on a hot summer day, before you sit down in your Jeep, be aware that you could possibly get burned a little.

These covers have been an awesome investment for my Jeep. They have allowed me to live care free and be able to just use my Jeep the way a Jeep was originally intended to be used in the early days. For $150 plus shipping, in the end, I am glad I purchased these covers. Hopefully with just simple upkeep, these covers will provide many years of service, and help me to enjoy my Jeep for years to come. Be advised there are many options available, and this option may or may not be for you.

Two Questions About The Jeep Wrangler Soft Top

For those that are not accustomed to the Jeep Wrangler, it is easy to have a lot questions about it for those that are interested in purchasing their first one. Are they cold in winter, are they noisy, uncomfortable, hot in the summer, and is it really for me? Today I would like to cover two of those questions in today's blog, and hopefully give some insight.

Is the Wrangler really cold in the winter, and hot in the summer? I can say surely over the last ten years of owning three Wranglers, it will blow your mind. In the winter time, even with a soft top on my Jeep, the heaters that are installed in Jeeps now days are very very hot, and I find myself a lot times, adjusting the temperature control and even rolling a window down a little to let in some cold air to cool the cab of the Jeep off. If one of your questions was about concern for staying warm inside a Jeep Wrangler, believe me, the heaters inside Jeep Wranglers now days are amazingly hot, and sometimes might even melt the rubber of your shoes.

Lastly, does the Wrangler have a lot of road noise inside the cab? I wish I could provide you with some numbers of the actual noise but I can not. I can how ever give you a user experienced review. My first Jeep Wrangler was a 1993 model, and I had to purchase a new top for this Jeep. I bought a cheap soft top to replace the worn one that was on it. It was a older style canvas material, and let me just say, you couldn't have a conversation with a passenger due to the material flopping as you went down the road. I later purchased another top that was made from a material called sail cloth, and let just say, it was a worlds better difference. I could actually have a conversation now with passengers, and to, I feel like the sail cloth material done a better job of keeping outside noise out as will.

Starting about 2003, Jeep started using sail cloth material on the Jeep Wrangler soft top models, and I've since read where they are using an even heavier style material on the newest Wranglers being sold new today. The heavier material I believe helps to keep the heat inside during the winter, and helps the a/c cool the cab of the Jeep in the summer time.

I hope I could give some insight about two questions about comfort from inside the Jeep Wrangler. I think that if you decide to purchase a soft top model Wrangler, you will be pleasantly surprised and will be pleased. Thank you for reading this Tectip Channel blog, I hope to see you back here next time folks, thanks for reading.

Review of, Rain Gear Jeep Wrangler Cab Cover

One of the great things about owning a Jeep Wrangler is, you can remove the top and doors. Will when the weather is great, one doesn't worry much about the insides of his or her Jeep until rainy weather comes. Never fear, there are options for those that just own a hardtop, those that don't have a top, or for those that leave the soft top down in the warmer months. The answer is a water proof cab cover, and there are a few manufactures today that offer such products. The one I will be reviewing is the Rain Gear Cab Cover, and I will express pro's and con's about the cover since I've used it.

In 2011, I purchased a 2004 Wrangler with only a hard top, and at the time, I barely could afford to buy bologna to make sandwiches due to the fact I went into debt for the Jeep. I needed a cheap solution and so I got to doing a little research and discovered that a cab cover for my new to me Jeep was the answer. There where two brands I liked really well, and I decided to go with the Rain Gear brand.

I went to www.jeepcovers.com, and selected the products button. From there one will see a column to the left where you select the model of Jeep you own. Once there, you have two options, you can purchase a cover that fits over the Jeep with the top off, or you can pay a little more and get a cover that will slip over the Jeep with its top on.

I chose a cover that would slip over the Jeep with the top off because that's what I was needing. The shipping was fast, I received the cover in a matter of a few days, and was pleased. Inside the box I found, the cover which was inside it own carrying sack made of the same material, and a Rain Gear ball cap as a complimentary gift.

I unrolled the cover, and tried it on my Jeep. First thing you do is, make sure to flip the wipers up on your Jeep, then slip the front portion of the cover over the windshield, and begin working the back portion over the roll bars. The Rain Gear Cab Cover has several straps attached to the cover where one can attach the cover to the frame rail or other places of the Jeep to prevent the wind from blowing the cover off and to tighten the cover as will.

Once the cover is installed, place the wipers down in their normal position, and there are strips of velcro where one can attach to the wiper arms. With all the attachment options, it really helps to keep this cover on your Jeep.

I've used this cover for will over a year now, and I must say that, the pro's out weigh the con's. This cover has really came through and helped to keep my Jeep dry and to keep the elements out of the cab of my Jeep. With all the attachment straps, I've seen this thing hold up to 50 something mile per hour winds, maybe even more during thunderstorms which I found pretty impressive. This cover also is not to difficult to install on the Jeep and not to complicated to remove as will. And lastly, the Rain Gear Cover also covers the door area, for those that want to leave the doors off ones Jeep. For those that leave the doors on their Jeep, the cover also has a velcro area that fits around the post of the side mirrors.

There is one con to this cover that is somewhat annoying but can be resolved with a little engineering. When installed, and it comes a decent rain, the area right above the driver and passenger seats tends to accumulate a pool of water, large enough sometimes, fish could swim in. Doing a little research, I found on a Jeep enthusiast website of how to make a prop which attaches to the roll bars, and you install the cover over it keeping the cover raised in this area. The prop, which made from pvc pipe, can be easily constructed from two tee fittings cut in half, and three quarter inch pipe.

For those that are in need of a solution to keep the elements from the cab of his or her Jeep, the "Rain Gear Cab Cover", might be a solution. It can be purchased for prices ranging from $120 to $130 plus shipping and handling. If you do decide to purchase one of these covers, I don't think you will be disappointed. Thanks for Reading this Tectip Channel Blog, hope to see you back here next time.

Information For The First Time Jeep Wrangler Buyer

Information For The First Time Jeep Wrangler Buyer

So you have been looking at that one Jeep at your local dealership, or you've been thinking about being behind the wheel of a Jeep Wrangler, and you're just not sure if its the right vehicle for you. You might have heard they are noisy, ride rough, you freeze in the winter, burn up in the summer, and the gas mileage is just horrible. Will long ago, that once was true, before 1987, Jeeps where cold in the winter, hot in the summer, and where just not very user friendly but since Chrysler Motors purchased the Jeep brand back in 1987, they've have worked really hard to make the Jeep more user friendly by giving it a lot of creature comforts.

Back in 1986 and before, you where lucky just be able to have a seat and an engine. Today, you can get the Wrangler with plenty of creature comfort options, most which you could of only found in a luxury car, such as heated leather seats, heated mirrors, power windows and locks, navigation systems, and the list just goes on and on. And one of the coolest features the Jeep has retained since its beginning in 1941 is, you can take the top and doors off, there's not to many four wheel drives today you can do this with. This one feature has helped the brand live on for seventy something years. There is no other feeling in the world than driving down the open road, cruising down the trail, and the air in your face and blowing you hair. On your worst day, just a drive in a Jeep, and you come back in the greatest mood.

Ride wise, the Wrangler is not bad, the more that time has went on. Back in 1997, Chrysler redesigned the suspension under the Wrangler from leaf springs to coil springs, which really helped the ride and also to give the suspension a little more articulation. Before 1997 and previous models, the ride was very rough, when you hit a bump in the road, you felt it, in newer ones, not so much. For those concerned with safety, the Wrangler since 1997, has come standard with dual airbags.

When it comes to MPG's, the Wrangler is not bad for what it is, you can expect to get 15-23 mpg, about what a standard half ton pickup truck will get. One of the factors to this is, its not very aerodynamic, its not a slick sports car, its the ultimate off road machine. If your the adventurous type, then the Wrangler will suit your desires, and your not concerned by mpg's, just the fun you can expect from owning a Jeep.

The kind of on road handling you can expect from the Wrangler is typical of most all terrain vehicles, you have to keep in mind that your not going to be driving a sports car. Being that the Wrangler is a smaller vehicle, you can cut on a dime if you chose to. This is one of the coolest advantages to being a Jeep owner, you can go where your buddy in his half ton pickup truck can not go. You can maneuver in and out of tight places.

In 2007, the people at Chrysler introduced the four door Wrangler. They realized that there are folks out there that have families, and they still have the desire to have the capabilities of owning a Wrangler. The Unlimited model has they are known, being that they have a longer wheel base to accommodate the four doors, helps the Unlimited to ride just a little bit better than its two door counterpart.

So after all this, you're still unsure that becoming a Jeep owner for the first time is for you, you will not find another vehicle that can take you where places you've never imagined and still be able to use for a daily driver. Since 1987, the Wrangler has become more user friendly, and loaded with many creature comforts. Guys, take the plundge, I promise, you will not be unhappy. Good luck on your first Jeep. Happy Jeeping Guys.

Things to Consider When Investing in A Winch

Things to Consider When Investing in A Winch

You've just purchased a Jeep or other four wheel drive, maybe your first one, and you take it out a few days later to your local off road park, and you get stuck. Luckily one of your buddies you came with or say another four wheel drive owner, helps get you out with the added accessory of having a winch. Right then, you think to yourself how convenient it would be to have a winch attached to the front of your own four wheel drive. If one can afford this accessory, its always a great thing to have a little extra security when the time comes, and be a little more confident you can get out of what ever trouble you get into. Today I will share with you some things to consider when purchasing your first ever winch.

The first thing to consider is your budget, just how much do you have to invest towards purchasing your first winch. I've read in the past of fellow off roader's buying a winch from such places has Harbor Freight, and being very pleased with how well it has performed for he or she while off roading. And for most, the holy grail of winches is Warn, which is well known for making high quality winches. With Warn, you are getting quality, and with quality comes high priced. But for the majority of individuals, I've read numerous counts of he or she owning a Ramsey winch, and having just as good performance as one would see with a Warn winch.

A second thing to consider is, how much winching power do you estimate you will need? For most smaller four wheel drives, an 8000lb pulling capacity winch is more than one will ever need to pull him or her from a stuck position. For larger four wheel drives, one might want to consider going to a 9000lb pulling capacity winch to aid him or her to safety. Most Jeep and other four wheel drive owners tend to want to insure they have more than enough pulling capacity, if he or she ever so needs so in the future.

A third thing to consider is, how do you plan to mount the winch to your four wheel drive? Most Jeep owners, who have a low budget, go with a winch mounting plate that bolts to the factory bumper in front of the Jeep. For most larger four wheel drives though, winch manufacturers make a mounting plate that mounts around the factory bumper and attaches to the front portion of the frame rails underneath your four wheel drive. For those with a bigger budget, most consider purchasing an entire new front bumper which the winch mounts into.
After considering the three things, you should have an idea what is involved when it comes to purchasing your first winch, considering how much pulling power you need for your application, and just how you can mount your winch to the front of your vehicle. Before you know it, you should have the extra added benefit and security to get yourself out of what ever you encounter. This has been another Tectip Channel blog, brought to you by the Tectip Guy, hope to see you back here again next time, thank you for reading.
