Moving Out For The First Time

       It's finally came time, you've just graduated from high school, mom and dad are driving you crazy, its time to move out. But where do you start, your barely making enough money to just drive your car around, or have money to have fun on. With my five tips, you can be successful at living on your own for the first time.

      One, make it a habit to pay your rent on time. You have to have a place to sleep at night, a place to protect you from the elements. There will be times when you can not pay your rent on time, all your bills sometimes will need to be paid all at once it will seem. When this happens, be up front and honest with your land lord, explain to them that you are having trouble and assure them that you will pay them on a certain date, and when that time comes, pay them.

      Two, pay your utility bills on time, utilities make your life so much easier. You have to keep your food cool, you have to have a means to cook your food, enjoy taking hot bathes, and wash your clothes. Pay your utilities on time.

      Three, have enough money to buy groceries. You have to eat, you have to have food to stay alive. I know how awesome it would be to have the latest and greatest video game, that awesome outfit but you have to put your priorities first.

      Four, make sure you have enough money to cover your transportation needs. Your going to have to have a means of getting to work, to make the money, that pays the bills, that keeps everything going. Make sure that you have money to pay your car insurance, enough money for gas, and money to cover up keep on your car. If you won't rely on a car but public transportation, make sure that you save enough money to cover those expenses. Also, if you live close to your job, you can ride a bicycle.

      And the fifth and last step to being successful at living on your own for the first time, is entertainment. Once you have covered the first four steps, and if you have enough money afterwards, you should pay your entertainment expenses. Entertainment expenses consist of, cable tv, internet, cell phone, land line phone, and any other means of things to entertain yourself. Entertainment makes life a lot more fun, and its fun to have these items but you can live without them.
      Remember I said, there will be those times when the bills will seem to pile up on top of you, and you will only have so much money, you are then left with a decision, do you want to eat, or do you want to talk to your friends on your cool latest and greatest smart phone, my guess is that you will choose eat.

      I believe with my five steps for living on your own, you can be a successful young adult and not have to move back in with your mom and dad.             If you've been in the market for your first tablet, then look no farther than the Nextbook 8 inch dual core tablet from Efun. Used to be, when it came to budget tablets, you could not expect much but with the Nextbook nx008hd8g model, folks can expect a whole lot for the money.

            Things you can expect to see on this tablet is its beautiful 8 inch hd screen with a screen resolution of 1024x768, 1.5ghz ARM Cortex A9 dual core processor, which is considerably fast, 1GB DDR3 ram, along with 8gb of on board memory, along with the option of an external sdcard slot to expand all your memory storing needs, built in 802.11b/g/n wifi.

            Other cool addtional features folks can expect with the NextBook model nx008hd8g, its back 2mp camera for shooting all those family moments, and front facing 0.3 mp camera for video chatting with family and friends, mini hdmi port for being able to share past moments on the big screen at family get togethers.

            Expect to get the latest of the Android operating system's on this tablet as well, Jellybean 4.1, with the option of having the Google Playstore as well to be able to enjoy tons of apps on your new tablet.

 

Screen

            The screen on this tablet is by far, really good when it comes to budget tablets. My only concern with the tablet is that when looking at it from sharp angles, it tends to bleed off a lot, so I always have to make sure I look at the Nextbook straight on. At 1024x768, for the price of this tablet, the screen is exceptional for what it is.

 

Performance

            Performance wise on the nx008hd8g, it is not bad as long as you don't demand way to much from it all at once. I found that when playing Angry Birds Friends sometime, that the tablet would lag but very few times. This could of been in part to that I was sharing my smartphone as a mobile hotspot on a 3G connection with 3 bars. And also, when looking at PDF documents on this tablet, I also noticed when zoomed in on the document, if I scrolled downed to looked at the bottom of the page, that it took the tablet a minute to render but after a few seconds, the bottom of the page would appear. But overall, for the price of this tablet, I would say one can not go wrong for ones money.

 

Features

            For $99.00 at Wal-Mart right now, you get quite a few features on this tablet. It does have wifi to connect to any wireless hotspot so one can check online material. Also it comes with a mini hdmi port to connect the nx008 to your television to share things on a television screen. This tablet also comes with an external charger and DC charging port but one can also charge the tablet through the usb port as well.

            This tablet doesn't come with the option of bluetooth or gps, which for some, that is perfectly fine because most that will purchase this tablet just want to check email, Facebook, or play a game or two.

 

Cameras

            The camera's that come on the nx008 are nothing to scream about. The rear camera is 2.0mp, and the rear camera 0.3mp. Don't expect to be able to take stunning photographs with this tablet. With the rear facing 2.0mp camera, I found the images to be grainy and washed out a lot of the times, and the front facing camera only good for video chatting and nothing else.

 

Battery Life

            The battery life on this tablet is not all that bad, one can expect to get 5-8 hours roughly from this tablet. Like any devise, it all depends on how long you use it, and how much you demand from it, each time that you use it. Charging times I found to be a little bit long than I would have liked.

 

Apps

            Though this tablet has allows you to download apps from the Google Playstore, unlike most budget tablets that have a limited own version of their own apps store, I found alot of the times that most popular apps where not compatible with the nx008, for example, "Instagram", which is popular with a lot of folks.

 

In the Box

            What you can expect from inside the box is a cloth tablet sleeve, to put it in to keep from scratching the tablet during everyday moving around, a few operating manuals, 6 foot usb cable, and external dc charger.

 

Overall, I think if you are in the market to purchase this tablet, you can not go wrong for the money. If you are simply looking for something to check your Facebook account and check email, all while watching your favorite tv show in the recliner, this is a great tablet for that.

Convertible Top Window Scratches

      Clear plastic convertible top windows are aggravating sometimes to keep looking fabulous. You go to clean them, and any little dust that is on them can easily cause scratches. Face it, their not as easy to care for as glass windows. So when you get a nasty scratch on your convertibles windows, how does one go about getting it off, or at least making it look better. That is what I going to discuss today, one way I use to get scratches off convertible top windows, which would be polish and a lot of elbow grease.

      First you will need a good overall polish, and a microfiber cloth. Make sure that before you get started, take a spray bottle of water, and another microfiber cloth and clean the surface really will that is to be buffed out.

    Dab a little bit of polish on your cloth and begin wiping on in a clockwise motion with medium pressure. For really deep scratches, one will need to apply firm pressure, or use a circular buffing machine to aid in polishing. Once the area is covered and buffed, wipe excess polish off and examine area for desired results. Repeat procedure if desired results are not obtained, it may take several attempts before desired results are obtained.

      With a little patients and time, you can have your convertible tops windows looking pristine again just as they where on the show room floor. Thanks for Reading.

      Cell phones today are not cheap, and you want to make your phone look as new as long as you can. But lets face it, accidents happen, and when they do, how in the world are you going to fix the problem or at least make it look better than it current does. There's several ways one can go about resolving the problem of removing a nasty scratch from your phone, I like to use car wax.

      What you will want to do is, find a micro fiber cloth, and have a high quality paste or liquid car wax. Take your micro fiber cloth and apply a small drop of wax onto the cloth, and in a clock wise motion, apply light pressure to the scratch. Continue to buff the damaged area for a second or two and then wipe the excess wax off.

      Inspect the scratched area to determine how the area now looks, if the scratch is still showing, it will take a few more applications to get the desired results, so be very patient. With a little bit of time and patients, you will soon begin to see the scratch disappear.

      A person can use other things other than car wax, really what you want is just and all around good polish that has a little bit of cutting material in it, kind of like sand paper comes in different grits, the same is true with polishes and car waxes.

      With a lot of patients and effort, you will see that nasty damaged area begin to look better and feel better about your mishap. Thanks for reading.

How to Patch Your Convertible Top

      I recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler soft top off a 2004 model pretty cheap that had a little mishap along the way, the previous owners grand kids where firing off bottle rockets and one just happened to shoot side ways and burnt a small hole in between the front seats. Convertible tops are more vulnerable than their metal counterparts and are more likely to suffer rips and tears. So what is a person to do when this happens, patch it. There are several ways that one can go about patching the damaged area on his or her top. I chose a way to fix this top and as I share it with you today, maybe I can provide you with a method to repair your top.

      There are a couple things that you will need before you can begin to patch your convertible top. First you will need contact adhesive, which I found I found in a local department stores' craft center, I would highly recommend buying uv resistant instead of regular, which should not yellow over time sitting in the sun. The next couple of things you should get are, vinyl top material, which one should be able to find at an upholstery shop, uv resistant outdoor thread, and iron on tent patches.

      First I want to advise before you begin to repair the damaged area on your convertible top, make sure that the temperature outside is seventy degrees are higher, if you are working on your convertible in the winter time, make sure to work on the damaged area in a warm garage.

      First you want to prep the area, what I done with my top was to cut the burnt damaged areas, making a smooth edge that would lay flat.

      Second, you will want to take your iron on tent repair patch and place it on the underside of the convertible top. This will act as a holder for the next step which is applying contact adhesive. Then you will want to take your contact adhesive and begin to fill in the damaged area, depending on how large the damaged area is. Then allow your contact adhesive to dry for at least twenty four hours.

      Once your contact adhesive has dried, proceed next to applying contact adhesive to the back side of your repair patch. Once applied, press the repair patch down over the damaged area, then allow to dry for at least twenty four hours.

      Next prepare your needle and thread and begin to sew around the outer edge of your repair patch. Once the patch is sewn, take contact adhesive and apply around the outer edge of the repair patch, and smooth the bead of adhesive down with your finger, this bead of adhesive will prevent water from finding its way underneath the repair patch. Once applied, once again, let the adhesive dry for at least twenty fours hours.

      The steps I provided above are how I went about repairing the damaged area on the Jeep soft top that I purchased. Maybe the steps I provided can help you to come up with your own way of repairing your own convertible top. Thanks for reading guys.
